So I searched Pinterest for a patriotic potion and I found a
Red, White & Blue Sangria courtesy of recipegirl.com. Younger daughter pointed out that there is no
juice involved…there is berry-flavored vodka but there’s enough fruit to take
care of the fruit detail.
Red, White & Blue Sangria
Ingredients:
2 bottles dry white wine.
I used Yellow Tail Sauvignon Blanc.1 cup triple sec
1/2 cup berry-flavored vodka
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup simple syrup (I used Stirrings)
1 cup blueberries
1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks or stars punched out of mini cookie cutters. I used the star in my Pampered Chef mini cookie cutter kit.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl or pitcher and stir well. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Serve well-chilled with a good scoop of fruit floating in each drink, or serve over ice.

Thanks Boomer...I'll make you some one day! Dear long lost....are you a former neighbor of mine!? If so, do tell!-- Joann
To enjoy a non-alcoholic version of this DELICIOUS sangria, substitute the following: For the Vodka, sparkling water; for the Triple Sec, fresh orange juice; for the White Wine, white grape juice. Follow the same directions and enjoy!
Looks like a keeper. I am always looking for a great sangria recipe. Have tryed many over the years some good, some not so. I like the addition of the berry flavored vodka.
